My mom and dad took me out to Friendly's one night. Before we got our food, they told me that I had long QT. I knew very little about it at that time. I began to cry because now I was different. I couldn't play certain sports now that before I could, like football or lacrosse.

Every day from now on I have to take medicine each night. I cannot swallow it yet, my mom has to crush it for me.

Sometimes my doctor makes me run on a treadmill. I like doing that because I like running. One of the other tests I have to do is wear a holter for 24 hours. I don't like this because it is hard to sleep with it. I can't move around very easily either.

I am very unhappy that I have this because I really want to play football with my friends. Football has more action than other sports.

My friends who play football are: Coner, Andrew, Patrick and Roland.

I have to wear a medical bracelet which says: Long QT, takes beta blocker. People in my school, even people that don't even know come up to me and ask me what it is, that makes me embarressed, I tell them that it is a medical alert bracelet because I have a heart problem.

My mom is calling me to take my medicine now, so I have to go.

Bye
